Danes made a ten-part show for E! called "Claire's Danes". She met a famous individual from Denmark in each show, apart from the seventh programme, when she spent a day with Another Level's Dane Bowers.

Claire turned down the role of "Rose" in Titanic as she had just finished working with Leonardo DiCaprio on Romeo + Juliet.

Claire achieved quick fame (and a Golden Globe) in her teens by starring in the short-lived TV series My So-Called Life, which she followed with a string of high-profile turns in mid-'90s films such as Little Women, U Turn and Romeo and Juliet. Most recently, she has appeared in The Hours and is set to star in the upcoming Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
