GERMAINE Greer has sparked outrage again, this time with an attack on Michelle Obama's election night outfit.
Greer called the future First Lady's dress a "butcher's apron" and a "travesty".
She also remarked on the size of Ms Obama's head and said her daughters' clothes were not "girly" enough.
The Australian-born academic, 69, who made her name as a strident feminist, devoted her entire Guardian newspaper column this week to criticising Ms Obama's outfit.
Readers initially thought Greer was joking, but by the end of the article discovered there was no punchline. Furious feedback followed, in which Greer was accused of killing feminism.
